The Art of Long Netting by Harold Wyeman and Long Netting From Peg To Peg by Martin King. Out of the two I think the later gives more detailed information on how nets are made, setting up nets, etc for the beginner, with plenty of pictures. We all know one picture is worth a thousand words. The art of long netting does give some information but you really have to look for it amongst the anecdotes, never the less it still is a good read.
