Outlaw Pete 2,224
what are clags? Horse Flies, basically, mate. Some people spell it " Clegg ". Don't know why. Rhymes with " Slag ". As I recently posted though, it's strange. You all seem to say their bite hurts like a fag burn? I grew up hearing that too. (Fortunately, I never got bitten by one!) Here though? You don't feel a thing! Just look down and one's on your skin. Manage to splatter it and there's blood everywhere ~ Yours, probably! It's eight to twelve hours later. The spot itches with such intensity I'm in danger of gangrene, I rip so hard at my skin! Thank f**k I discovered this Eurax. Stops the itching inside of five minutes So, I'm basically now sitting here under what could be a virtual death sentence. Just waiting for the poison to work. Thankfully, I have the antidote sitting right here too. Oh; And some people just aren't effected! Pat isn't. I don't think Eddie was either. Maybe I should start a thread about the f**king things? We could all compare notes.

Outlaw Pete 2,224
Graham; No. NO. F**king NO!!! That is NOT what I wanted! Some tinny, antipodean accented kiddie pinging on about what ever the F**k he was pinging on about. Whilst subliminal images of gorgeous, young chicks distracted me from what ever the f**k he was chirping on about? F**k that. I'll cough my fifty to Billy Boy and trudge along like the rest of The Lost. Thanks

Caravan Monster 323
Linux operating systems are good if your computer use is mostly browsing the web and sending some emails. Not so good for more specialised use like gaming or high end multimedia. If you have a cheap old laptop, a slow internet connection and mostly browse the web, it is worthwhile giving a linux os a go. My 'give it a try' suggestion would be Puppy Linux Download your chosen version and burn it to a CD, then boot your computer off the CD and if you like the look of the system, use the universal installer to install Puppy Linux to a usb stick, from where it will run a lot faster and smoother. I like the 'slacko' version. Review of current puppy slacko presented by a dull sounding man: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTINWB1asEI The benefit of an operating system installed in a cd or usb stick is that it doesn't interfere with your copy of windows on the hard drive. Most Linux distros are quite user friendly to install and use, don't be put off by the geek stigma, and there's normally an answer to anything that isn't clear via google. Outlaw Pete 2,224
Hmmm. Cheers. And so yet more vacillation I mean, obviously, I'm in no screaming rush to go out and give Gates fifty more f**king quid. But, I have used XP, perfectly contentedly, for the last decade! That's a hard habit to break!

Outlaw Pete 2,224
If I had teeth, I'd probably have been biting my lip. If I had an ebay account ..... If I had a paypal account ..... Whoops! No. Even then, for some f**king reason look, the guy would refuse to send to me! It's like this wine I've never yet got around to trying to make. The gods are at work here. There's some reason unbeknownst to us
