bucknut 1
i have a 4 year old cocker bitch who was lined by an experienced dog one year ago, the dog mounted and gripped on with total pride and control hitting the spot resulting in 6 healthy pups. Due to family issues relating to cash and the wife leaving me all pups had to go, I tried to line the bitch again tonight but the inexperienced dog shot his load over her back and attempted to mount about 10 times over a 1 hour period. eventually he hit the spot and tied for 30 mins. I am desperate for another dog - is this enough or do I need another cover as the owner of the dog is going away for as few days and I cant sort anything else out? many thanks for any replies Buck Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
once is all it needs bud didn't your mother tell you about the birds and the bees ... and the way in which dogs are a wee bit different to both birds and bees! Quote Link to post
irishnut 297
They never mentioned firing a warning shot over her back though. Nor wiping your cocker on the curtains. 1 Quote Link to post
jangles 24
If the dog is just a few miles away then take her back... Quote Link to post

camokev64 36
Bucknut. Line the bitch 3 times minimum, leave her with the stud dogs owner if possible.Better a good brimming, than an empty tank. Stick in Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
If the dog shot his bolt then tied I would definitely be taking the bitch back for another lining to make sure ...... Quote Link to post
