I am a sucker for a dh x I must admit lads its my dog of choice and have served me well over the years

I would love to see that a wee wippet hanging on for dear life maybe a munty but nothing else just my opinion I used to run dear alot when it was legal and seen a few small types come a cropper and just wasn't strong enough for them that why I used dh x got the speed strength agility for them and make a dam good all-rounder if you get it from the right breeding that is

its funny you saying that, because few lads who got or had deehoundgreyx bullx grey's stick that bit of bull in to toughen them up a bit, and not just for the coat either .But look at the Stags in OZ=USA they will kill 30lb yotes that far harder to kill than any 18lb fox, or those that work on wild pigs, from what they say there old lines of deerhoundxgreys with drop of pit in them from years back, maybe with out the bit bull blood in them, maybey be not as good as they say they are today :hmm:

Two smart looking dogs there gafer  shame about the blue 1
thanks ye it was mate was a real good dog filled the freezer plenty of times
Filling the freezer is what this type does better than any other type
Yet another bold statement ffs bettet than filling the freezer than any other does it shop in iceland lol
it is a bold statement but could a whippet put a deer in the freezer there are a few other types that can't eather

it would suprise what we whippet size dogs can do ive not had a dog bigger than 21tts for a good few years now and they did fine and i bet theres a few lads on here with mike browns whippets that would say different

Was just pointing out the fact that I've not personally seen a bedlington x with a good coat, well, one, about 30 years ago. Just bedlington, no other terrier type in the cross. He was a whip/grey x bedlington, and he had a better coat than any other bedlington x I've seen.

And I've not yet come across any other type of lurcher that could fill a freezer as quickly and as regularly as deer/grey x collie/grey types.

There might well be bedlington x's with superb coats, but I've not seen any, and there might well be other types as useful at filling a freezer as c/g x d/g types, but again, I've not seen any.

And while I will agree that other types are better at ferreting, for everything else c/g x d/g is extremely hard to beat, for me

On paper My bitch has 1/8 beddy in her, so not much at all, the rest is deerhound collie greyhound, although her coat looks nice it's a nightmare, it holds water like a sponge and picks up all types of foreign objects..!

On the other hand her brother has a cracking coat by the looks of it, guess my bitch threw to the beddy..
