Tiercel 6,986
The best way for Bindweed Convulvulous which has waxy leaves, is to get an old glove and dip it in the Roundup then smear the leaves with the weed killer. Best way to do it is to put on a pair of Marigolds then put the old glove on over the marigold then rub the weedkiller into the leaves this breaks the wax on the leaves and allows the weedkiller to get down to the roots. cookiemonsterandmerlin 145
Ivy or bindweed suffer with having the issue of the spray running off due to waxy nature of there leaves if you add a squirt of washing up liquid it helps breaks the wax and does not effect the spray Cookie

gnipper 6,564
Anyone wanna buy some moody weed killer? PM! The pro biactive stuff might be safe but you wouldn't get me spraying normal roundup near my animals or a watercourse.
Outlaw Pete 2,224
The pro biactive stuff might be safe but you wouldn't get me spraying normal roundup near my animals or a watercourse. Shit! Is that so? Is it dodgy then? See, this is the thing; I've only used the gear I have there. And I know it's safe because I Read The Label Just as I would, of course, if I got the other sort you mention. Mate of mine here was telling me how his Dad used some weed killer, up beside the house and to within eight foot of the garage. Dog was tethered in the garage doorway. Noel went to take the dog its dinner and found it wouldn't be wanting any Of course, Noel's father, like Noel after him, and Noel's sons; All Farmers. Thus, " Professional Users ", by birth right. I'm trained. They're Born " Professionals ". I read the label. They kill innocent things
