Best Weed Killer

Round Up or glyphocate from garden centres

As Above, But not from a Garden Centre....They offer you a weaker concentrate....Much more expensive too.

Try and get some of the 'real' stuff from a farmer, or farm supplier...Much more potent!

I have got mine from one the farms I shoot on once a year generally does it for me om in battle with ivey at the moment

" Roundup "   Scores Zero on the 'Poison Any Other Shit' listings.   Put simply? It's like bottled water, to anything non vegetative.   So, yeah; While it would knock over a good third of this p

Sodium chloride nothing will grow there for over a year, as seeds germenate in the ground they are killed. It is sold in many forms such as path and patio weed killer.   TC

Any farm supplier will sell you some glypocate...easy to use and safe around animals..dont expect instant results take between 10-15 days to really take effect

Nik B ..I found the best way with that bind weed (I had tons of the shite ) roundup ,which knocks it down then I let it grow up canes & roundup again . According to gardener ,who told me the idea is to get a bit of leaf to absorb more weedkiller , it took about 10 goes to get rid of it completely .My mate made the mistake of trying to dig it up ...spread it all over the place

I also made that mistake, I tried to pull it out by the stems when it was small shoots and it spread everywhere. Last year I hit it with roundup but I started a bit late when the plants were growing slower in autumn. Going to hammer the hell out of it this year and hope I can put a dent in to it. Problem is that it comes under the fence from next doors :(

I'll try the garden cane idea, sounds like it will work better and it will help it get more sun and grow faster so it should get the poison to the roots better.

Cheers

Nik

Lab, that's crazy! I would have thought, " Oh, yeah. I got mine in the farmers store. " But, only yesterday I was in town and went in the bog standard hardware shop. Counter was buried under Roundup!

There's no reason it should be tricky to get hold of. It's just a completely harmless, every day weed killer. Not like paraquat or something. Can't for the life of me work out why they're keeping it away from you.

icon_neutral_zpsf88c927b.gif Just how I buy it, Cookie. Off the counter at a few shops in town. Landlord of my local doses the pavement outside his place, every year. Lead up to the Tidy Towns thing.

It's just another of these vexing examples of how you or I may need to show all sorts of bits of paper, to buy certain gear we use. Pass exams and all sorts to get them.

Then, some thick f**k simply has to say, " Aye. Oim eh Faaaarmer! ". And they shovel him as much as he wants. Because, by birth right, he'd deemed a " Professional User ".

Farcical, isn't it? (How are your CPD Points, FFS) All else fails? Mole Valley Will provide! What's the f**king point?

Grazon 90 for nettles and brambles but you may need a Cph number to buy it. Sprayed some nettles off and you could see the feckers keeling over as I sprayed them......amazing stuff.
