skycat 6,174
I haven't really got a colour preference: had dogs of all the colours possible in canines, though I do like merles: interesting to look at and perfect camouflage. Having said all that, I seem to have a batch of mainly orangey, fawny, reddish, or pale browny sort of things at the moment: makes for a more homogeneous look when mooching around: from a distance people can't tell how many there are Aside from the black/brindle and the black and tan of course Quote Link to post
R.A.W 1,987
I'm surprised at how many people like a merl dog but saying that I remember going to a show a few years back and seeing a pair that stood out from the rest like a super model on the Thl fishing comp...........they can be striking to look at. Born Hunter 17,831
I'd try to ignore colours so I can be as objective as possible and pick something I like the build and temp of.............. However, I do like a smooth fawn or slightly rough dark brindle. Quote Link to post
