Whats In A Colour?

Recommended Posts

I haven't really got a colour preference: had dogs of all the colours possible in canines, though I do like merles: interesting to look at and perfect camouflage. Having said all that, I seem to have a batch of mainly orangey, fawny, reddish, or pale browny sort of things at the moment: makes for a more homogeneous look when mooching around: from a distance people can't tell how many there are :tongue2::laugh:

Aside from the black/brindle and the black and tan of course

I've been to Hancock's in the past and viewed some stunningly beautiful merles, blues, creams, silver/sooty and reds.............and still came away with a black pup..

Mind you, I have just about got it all covered colour wise...blue merle, red, dark brindle. red and white collie marked and a light brindle greyhound bitch......

Same as the ladies.... All do the same job, just some are better to look at...   I'm brave posting on my phone while wife watches tv.

I'm surprised at how many people like a merl dog but saying that I remember going to a show a few years back and seeing a pair that stood out from the rest like a super model on the Thl fishing comp...........they can be striking to look at.
