Sleighty ain't had kelpie crossed 50 years I took him to see his first kelpie on a farm I worked on in 1993.

He took a collie bitch to it and got ruby.

That's where it started

Another pic i found taken the other week D9204409-55E7-4DEC-A55E-6515F46A807D-241. How did you find training the dog tomo? Any tips/ pointers to look out for. Atb dangermouse

There intelligent things ,, I think that's a given,,, mine as a pup wasn't food driven,,, so in honesty I found mine harder to train to basic commands than my saluki cross I had at the time,,, but of course they have an intelligence where they pic up things easy,,,mine unfortunately was dog aggressive ,,, which steadily got worse,,,and was her downfall ...

Cheers Tomo, yeah they are indeed clever dogs. Sometimes with basic training i feel everything is going well the dog response are fluid , then sometimes it like do i really want to do it pause then carry out command. She has shown some agrresion but thanks to some top advice from skycat it seems to be nipped in the bud.Like i said before she is my first dog of any kind so got nothing to compare to. The main thing is i don't want to put faults in the pup and only want to bring the best out of her. Skycat put me on to jim greenwood who has been brillaint with advice and help. Been teaching her the find it game, realse commands etc. Going to go out with him when she is older, so we both can learn the lurcher game so to speak and see first hand.

Tp 123 you need to download photo bucket app then upload to there, then search for bpr "photobucket" on how to upload pictures then follow guide. Would love to see a pic
