socks 32,253
My next door neighbour has a teacup yorkie fukcing creature that attacks my or any other dog whenever it sees them ... I have had ferrets bigger than this fukcing thing and Ny one of my dogs could kill it with one bite and shake however I don't allow my dogs to fight or be aggressive with other dogs ... They learn from puppies correct manners and tolerance ... My neighbours missus thinks its funny and calls it her little terrorist ... It came running out on Sunday during the BBQ and tried to attack Tegan's legs until I scruffed the little fukcer and gave it back to her ... Again she thought it was funny ... Like I told her on Sunday you can't expect my dog to keep ignoring this behaviour and the older and less tolerant she gets means that this is only going to end one way ............

Exactly.....horrible little things. I've said it before but I bet more people are bitten by these dogs than any other breed ever, it's just they don't get reported cos they're so puny. Just boot it over the fence when noone's looking pal

j1985 1,984
This kind of incident happens all the time all over the UK, makes me laugh at some of the shite people spout about bullbreeds though!! I know full well what mine is capable of and what is likely to make him lose his cool!! I'm constantly asking people to put their dogs on a lead even though my boy is extremely social and a steady dog. But I know if their dog was to give it he'd finish it, and in the eyes of the general public that have read all the horse shit in the papers etc I'd be at fault for owning a bull breed. When in actual fact thats bollocks, they should like me have their dog under control, I don't care how friendly your stupid bouncy lab is the law states keep your dog on a lead in public places and if everyone abided by this there would be half as many incidents as lads like me who try their best to stay away from every day pet owners that think letting their dog run up to any dog is acceptable wouldn't have to deal with that every time we cut through a park or walk past some divs house. blackdug 90
Another fat cow chav with no brains ... The country is swimming with dossers like this....no job ,no brains and most likely a terrible mother but one morning wakes up and thinks it,s a good idea to get a bull terrier .....when I see the likes of her coming when out with my dogs I make a point of avoiding them like the plague...if the dog is not on a leash I soon tell them to get one on it ....i would put that women in hospital for a month if I owned that wee dog.....the photo of her walking of into the sunset made my blood boil.....I avoid public parks as that is normally how far they get walked ...it,s the likes of her that are f***ing up this country

bracken boy 584
Scothunter you say you havnt met a owner yet that can control their bullbreed, now you either havnt met many or if true thats a very scary thought. Not everybody is rubbish at owning a dog, i walk a mastiff x daily i keep him close onlead and safe, the time has come to stop the loons from owning a possible dangerous strong type dog like the bullbreeds..

And how would you determine who's a loon and who isn't? Stories like this are a bit worrying IMO because it's just a matter of time before some simple politician pushes though some legislation without thinking about it properly and before you know it we have yet more pointless ridiculous restrictions forced on us that make it even less of a free country and do absolutely nothing to tackle the problem it's supposed to be tackling.

Two lurchers killed my neighbours little cat the other night, the cat belonged to a 5yr old wee girl who loved her wee cat to bits, another lurcher owner had no control over their dogs last month and they both tore into an elderly mans little dog which was on the lead, poor wee thing luckily survived. It's not big and it's not clever for large dogs to kill other peoples precious little pets !!! all my dogs would kill a cat on sight ,isnt that a dog being a dog
gnasher16 30,591
Ive been saying it for years.....there should be car owner type insurance on ALL dogs.........a bull terrier would be the equivalent group 20 that a Ferrari is.....a fluffy little cake eating tv watching breed would be a group 1..........dog ownership numbers would drastically reduce, after all.....how many bad boys off the estate are going to fork out serious money to insure a dog, alternatively they could hang with their homies with a Yorkie under their arm ?...........The decisions made by societies idiots cant be controlled, but they can be influenced !

Insurance companies fleece us enough as it is IMO.

We too have a Mastiff X - also never, ever allowed off her lead in public for any reason. So many times, she is faced down by some dog, with no lead on, barking at her. I ask the owner to come and get their dog. The reply? "It's OK, he's friendly!". They genuinely don't seem to see the dangers of some scrawny uncontrolled mutt picking a row with a 55kg dog.Too often the more intelligent partner seems to be on the lower end of the lead! Incidentally, Mrs.B has 3 tiny little JRT X's and they are treated no differently to 'the big dog'. Edited July 9, 2013 by Blackbriar

scothunter 12,609
bracken im sure the lads on here who own them can control them, well i hope they can.round my way seems every c**t wants to own staffies,or rotties.and im not lying ive met loads, and unfortunaetly the few several times, and not one of them listens to a word there ownwers say.there either chasing after them,or trying to stop fights.the only time i let my dog off the lead is when get to where im going. sadly i have to pass these idiots from time to time. i honestly dont see how they get any enjoyment from owning a dog, that does not listen to basic commands.
