What Did Your Parents Think?

Recommended Posts

So people. What did your parents think when you started hunting as a kid? Just asking because I want to start this season with cattys and maybe an air rifle, I can get permission and all, but my mum will probably think im a serial killer. Oh well, she's a vegeterian, i wouldn't expect much support ;)

You have to make time for the pleasurable things in life mate and walking out in your own with your four legged friend at your side cannot be beaten ... All the worlds stresses just slip away ........

Mine were just glad I was out doing something that didn't involve pinching or drugs I think.

I was born into a hunting family ... Mother included so it wasn't a problem for me ... Just explain the facts to your mother about respecting quarry etc but with her being a veggie you could have an up hill struggle lol .....

What part of wales you from young man ........

From Pembrokeshire. Loads of fields and woods everywhere.

MALT one of the mods on here is from there if you have a problem with your parents he could come along and speak to them as a responsible member of the hunting community ... I am sure he would be more than happy if you asked him .......

We have a lurcher and a whippet but both are family pets, and both getting on. The whippet loses his head if another dog comes in the house so that wouldn't be too practical.

The dog post was Gnasher not you fella .........
