few hours on the plenking should take you up to 70 np's...its a mind game to beet.

 

its like your first girlfreind..yu fumble about till you find the hole hehe (sorry ladies..but it is when you dont know any different :hmm:or know how but just not where :laugh: )

 

start at 10 yard or what ever your cumfy at (has nowt to do with what yu mates think like) and shoot one hole, now hit that hole, that is the only intent and the only out come your intrested in.

when you do it 3 time your head starts 'chucking in the bottle game'...self doubt, teething probs etc.. but non the less you did one, twice....yehar three times same hole..so you can do it, the rest is in your head and time in helps conquer that. It's a bit like you get bored of missing, and erghhh dunnit a mirrion times and just do it now.

 

now add on 5 yard..hit the hole...eventualy you'll notise where the pellets start opening out (bit like the girlfreind..yu need to know how lol..makes um smile longer) when your 'used to that..add another five (no more GF similies..thats to the individual lmao..sy..) and so on.

 

you'll be suprised, because how big is a rabbit head at 50 yards? how big is a pellet hole at 10 yards? whats the difference?? there is non.

 

(bar shite pellets stec..wind blah blah..variables that can easily be dealt with when you can hit the hole right.. )

I'm happy with the hold over but what's the point when I can get within 50 - 60 yards of them using prior planning.

good point..if your cumfy there and it works.

 

 

(if you want your full potential to be there for later..takes time, and later that times lost).

.....night three and by god what a night.

I got to the field around 2030 hours and immediately I could see it was going to be a fruitful night. I quickly bombed up and set around stalking these rabbits. First thing I saw in range at about 55 yards was a pigeon. Cheers easy.

I switched over to the JSB Heavies, and really really impressed. I'm sure I can inflict alot more damage now iv got used to the pellet.

it was going to be a epic night......

12 rabbits (3 I left out in the field) and a pigeon.

But I wasnt done there...I quickly dashed home about 2200, had a brew and some cake (i know such a fatty) put the MK4 away and pulled out the rimmy to set about another permission getting plagued by foxes and got another 3 rabbits and this dog fox

now what a nights hunting.

yeah im just getting ready to go out tonight and do a permission where there is reported to be thousands of rabbits.....we will see. No foxing for me now untill tomorrow night

....................and the third and maybe final night for this instalment.

I dont know what more else to say. the final total was 17 (3 went to the farmers dogs) 2 I couldn't find.

Needless to say iv started making a impact on the rabbits on this yard.
