Could be a multitude of reasons mate. Dog could be a young dog never seen a hare, been sold to someone who's run it that morning. Dogs don't just run for any Tom dick or Harry. Or it could be shite

thats down to the lads training it , it wasnt running from it being slipped that means it hasnt been schooled properly nothing to do with it being heartless , a bag of shit done right will chase a plastic bag blown in the wind never mind a live piece of fur
