Craig83 52
Some of the rounds in my boxes of 50 have a dirty residue on it. It cleans off with a bit of cloth but im worried it might be something to worry about. Iv had them second hand, and as of yet it seems to be ok, however the other night i was out shooting rabbits and a few shots caused a big plume of smoke out of the silencer. The silencer is brand new so its not dirty, so I wonder if its the ammo? Have a look please guys. Cheers, Craig Quote Link to post
TwoSmokingBarrels 11
They could have been stored in damp conditions? With the plume of smoke, possibly just a dodgy round, always get a few. Quote Link to post
Craig83 52
Should I just clean them and crack on? Quote Link to post
Lannyman8 3
they are just old and should be fine, its microscopic corrosion the the metal, but at this scale with this metal it will be fine, its the cases you need to worry about, if they are corroded be very careful as you can have a breach explosion... best of luck with it. regards. chris.
