thursodog 353
My old but trusty till Tuesday Landy failed its mot and i stupidly decided to sell my to pay for the parts needed to make her legal again. Then i woke up this morning and decided i was an idiot for even contemplating this and withdrew my offer. The moment of danger passed and what the hell I'll use my visa and worry about paying it later, in the mean time I'm going out all day Sat with my lovely for some targets and hopefully a pigeon or 2 so we can have a lovely pigeon breast salad with a glass or 2 of the red stuff on Saturday night, who gives a SH*T about money when there's shooting and a warm breeze on yer puss. I might even get to blood my new 97, pics to follow soon i hope. Happy hunting folks. Chris. 6 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,589
Aww Chris NOOOOOOOO!!! :cray: I would never sell one of my rifles to pay a bill. Any bill. I'd ask my bank to lend me the cash or try anything else but, to sell one of the rifles I have would fill me with remorse for life. There is an attachment we get to our rifles that, even if you filled a room with HW80s and put yours and mine in among them and then, sent us blindfolded into the room, we'd be able to pick our own individual rifles out from the mass. Mac your little grandson is never going to forget his Christmas to come. I'm actually feeling excited for him knowing what he's got coming! That's a moment worth more and a precious memory that's priceless. Bollocks to the bloody bills. Pay those in installments too! Simon 2 Quote Link to post

silentshot1 206
If i HAD to, the PCP's could go and to be honest, I wonder at times if I need more than one or two guns. That said I couldn't/ wouldn't be able to part with the HW77, it's to much a part of me. I'm thinking of selling a PCP to fund another .77 in .22, but just can't bring myself to do it! 1 Quote Link to post
