Gazmapp 13 Posted July 3, 2013 Report Share Posted July 3, 2013 How often should I feed my ferret kits, they only 6 weeks and am putting a little water over there nuggets in a morning to soften them up for them, but they having a bit and leaving the rest and come evening it looks like shit so should I do them fresh or just wait till morning to do them fresh, also how often should I give them liver I gave it them for first time tonight and they loved it should i give it them every night or just a couple of times a week, cheers atb gaz Quote Link to post

The one 8,511 Posted July 3, 2013 Report Share Posted July 3, 2013 Once a weeks plenty with liver , up to you but mine are getting feed morning and night with the older ferrets they just get feed at night but you cant expect kits to wait all day and to give them the best start you should be pumping the grub into them 1 Quote Link to post

If you haven't got rabbits/carcasses, then mince(dog food type) or chicken wings are your best bet and leave the biscuits in for if they get abit hungry. I would feed as much as they will eat morning and night , you don't want to be leaving meat in their hutch this time of year as you will be plagued with flies.
