Been down see and old friend today who showed me how to snare and long net when I was a lad I was hinting to some nets he had for my lad and we got talking about ferrets ffs some barbaric stuff snapping there teeth any way he said years ago he used a line attached to the ferret when they entered burry and smoking the ferret out burning gorse lol and body els herd these before or am I just green all together with ferret

Haha ha I called one a hutch uther day and the feller who had the kits said it was a fecking cort or a stable or wtf al call it a hutch me and the lads ferst trip sould be a laff or end in tears lol

Nope you ran it off a stick and it was rolled up in a figure of eight knotted every yard for the first ten yards and you controlled the tension

Interesting stuff I realy had no idea about ferrets and I been running dogs hunting and fishing all my life to be honest turn my nose up at ferreting in the past but with the law as it is at mo don't want my lad getting in bother like me so I been getting in to it with him and I admit am hooked should off tryed it years ago

Its another sting to our bow of legal pest control so i use it and a lot of farmers let you ferret when they wont let you shoot or use dogs
