walshie 2,804
I didn't think the discount was for BASC, I thought it was for SACS. Better check with a mod. Quote Link to post
Fretwell 59 15
It says on the basc web site Quote Link to post
liddlesdale 1
if your joining BASC just for the insurance, there's cheaper organisations out there. I joined National Organisation Of Beaters & Pickers Up only £20 for year. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
SACS (who THL organise a club policy with every year) do membership with insurance cover for everything from Archery to Deep Sea fishing, including sub 12 and FAC air rifles, shotguns, centre fire, rim fire, ferreting, terrier work, snaring, coarse fishing, game fishing, falconry, horse riding etc etc for £26! Normally membership of SACS is £35 for a year, I would go with SACS, keeps Elspeth busy! Quote Link to post
KurtH 74
I pay for my BASC membership by direct debit for £5 a month. That way you don't even notice it leave the bank 1 Quote Link to post

A1WOC 212
Get a grip mate ffs . If you can go to the trouble of posting here , you can look up BASC , its not rocket science . Just seems that the days of people finding out stuff themselves is gone . Its like the " I need a permission in this area " threads , or what pellet shall i use .... There's loads that have one it before you and.probably loads that will after you but you gotta help yourself as well . If you use the search button , or even google you will find anything you need to know . Does that make this forum redundant then? I think not; when a trivial or similar question is asked repeatedly it generates a broad range of answers, sometimes even belittling the OP. This in return generates replies that can be both witty and/or downright sarcastic. My whole point is, whatever question is asked and whatever answer is given it is generating interest in this forum; now that has got to be a good thing, hasn’t it? Regards, Steve Edited Having read many of your replies to posts on here you come across as a man who doesn’t tolerate fools. Now I know you are held in high esteem by many on here and rightfully so. I respect your knowledge of the sport and praise your recent charity fund raising posts; all I ask is - don’t change your witty banter, sarcastic, controversial and downright rude posts that keep readers glued to the forum.
