Dawn B 212
Hi. We catch them using the scissor traps, you can get them from here: http://www.trapman.co.uk/pro-scissor-mole-trap.html Always make sure there is NO daylight getting through from the surface, we cover with an upturned food bowl or something. Had lots of success, this one was caught the other day. Dawn.
mooster 1
Try the "snares, trapping and pest control" section. Also lots of experienced moletrappers on the ferret site. Don't bother with gimicky "sonic" sounders ...waste of time in my experience.I gave a friend loads of ferret poop to put down mole holes as someone suggested.....also a waste of time.! Dawn B 212
You have to dig where the mole hill is, a few inches below the surface you will feel the mole run, this run is where you put the set trap, as the mole goes past it along his run, it will snap. Sometimes we dig a little further along, but the runs are easily found. There is some info on here as Mooster was saying, have a scan down the threads to see if you can get any more tips. Its trial and error we found, not an exact science!
