So some of you may of seen the add the other day, of a new member just joining up at 7am and posting ads for pups by 10past ! no other posts by him so far and i don'tthink we will see any, total user only here for his greed

 

the way i see this site is, its a forum for bit banter/ help each other out and as a side note we have the forsale section!

 

I don't no about the rest of you but people like this we don't need and tbh its got me pissed off.....pauls says he will bring it up with other mods n Ian, so i'm hoping something will be done!

so chaps whats you take on this

i think it should be scrapped, wonder if there is actually any income made fromt he donators fees?? i should imagine it costs a bit to keep this site up an running, but from talking to mates and others iv met on here an a few other folk iv met the for sale section on here, especially the dogs is a joke an steadily getting worse.... last thing id want if it was my site was it to be associated way dodgy dog dealers

I moderate on a Carp forum,and members need 100 posts of substance and have had to be a member for a min of 3 months.We have been running the site for 10 years now and any classified issues are now minimal.

Also the classifieds are invisible to those that dont have access.

I've gone with long standing members and a fiver to the kitty. Not sure that shouldn't be Donator members too though.

 

Face it; Any dick can soon run up fifty posts of " Hullo and welcome / Nice Dog mate. Hows he bread. " That can practically be done over night. Proves f**k all. Then they can unleash hell and claim their " Right " to churn out the ad's.

 

I'd also be for a strict and low limit on how many creatures a person can offer for sale per year. I mean; How many f**king Dogs should a man need to shift a year?!

 

Being Donators not only shows their commitment to the site, of course. Their Pay Pal account will also give the admin a fair idea of who's coming back under new handles. They will. After all, what's a fiver to shift another load of pups?

to be honest i rarely go in the classified section other than if requested, i wouldn't be bothered if it went all together. i do however think people advertising pups should be prepared to pay the going advertising rates that would apply to cmw or edrd, Some sort of vouching system would be good in an attempt to stop fraud in other classified adds.
