Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701 Posted July 2, 2013 Report Share Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) Ayup lads and lasses. quick couple of hours out on my perm with my mate, hes rifle-less at the min so I let him have a go of my little beauty the HW95K, and I took my beloved KaTie out to play bit of plinking in a slight wind, but we were both getting good 5p sized groups, him with the 95 and JSB exact, and me with KaTie and 4.50 H&N FTT . I was hitting a drawing pin at 35 yards 1/3 shots and hitting my small spinner as big as a 10p everytime. jobs a good 'un. so off we go for a mooch, my mate shot 2 woodys, a neck shot on a 18-20 yard adult female low on a bare branch, and a 25 yards kneeler in the heart and lungs.. the second one he 'stole my shot' as his revenge for a rabbit I 'stole' from him a few months back then I got a squirrel, was low in a tree, ran along the wall then bolted up the tree, about 20 yards standing on 10 x mag, nearly cost me the kill, it kept stop-starting and it was hard trying to aquire the target straight away ! I got it in the sight as it was nearly at the dre, it just stopped for that split second too much, so I slipped KaTies safety off, squeezed her trigger gently and she spat a 8.6gr 4.50mm FTT at its head at about 700 fps or 9.3 ftlb. resulting in the squirrel, a big female, falling to the floor and me rushing over to make sure KaTie had done the job properly, like I asked her to.. which she did with a pellet next to the eye little egg snatcher is now in the freezer with a bunny and some pigeon breasts thanks for reading, SKoT Edited July 2, 2013 by Skot Ruthless Teale 5 Quote Link to post

Pcp or not I love mine too mate, shes got a self fitted vmach kit in, shes nice to shoot, the best I have ever shot, but when I have a go on some peoples SFS springers at the upcoming meet im sure I will want one for my self.. so might have to send my .22 hw97 off 1 Quote Link to post
