Hob&Jill 258
four one its the size of them. and get one of them that does the job.and i would not go near one Fair enough Personally I would go for a GSD every time My mates dad travels all over europe doing trials and stuff like that, I have seen the dogs in action and they are not to be fecked with, Yet 100% solid with his kids. I should imagine they are quite handy to have in the field too Here is a pick from his schutzhund club, rather him than me ATB, H&J
mooster 1
Geese are brilliant.....no good if you have neighbours ,but if you have the space/grass and are in an isolated location, unbeatable.

Simoman 110
Personally i'd get CCTV, its far cheaper than keeping a dog. I think its unfair to keep a dog for the sole purpose of kenneling it to keep people away. If its a deterant then cameras would be better, a dog can't protect your property if its locked behind 2" welded mesh or attached to a chain? The best protection dogs are part of the family. If its just a dog to notify you of unwelcome guests then don't your existing dogs bark at strangers? IMO the best dogs after training numerous breeds for protection work are European GSD'd, not the British show/pet rubbish....
