Gazmapp 13
Hi all just had some kits for the first time and was wondering what things I could put in there hutch to keep them occupied, I have put in a log for them to have a chew on also will be putting in a hammock for them tomorrow is there anything else I could put in there, would a tennis ball be ok for them? Cheers gaz Quote Link to post

thenetter 37
4'' plastic gutter pipe allways works for me,or if you've got the room in the hutch, a small tree branch for them to climb up. If that dus'nt work put a telly in for them, with a full series of coronation street, thats got to work.ha ha . Quote Link to post
Jamie m 668
Soft squeaky dog ball novelty wears off quick but really funny to watch Quote Link to post
onthehunt 40
Tennis ball would be good I put one in with my hob he loves it they will keep em selves busy playing with each other Yeah my 13 week old kit loves tennis balls and chiefly anything made of rubber!! very entertaining but he also has a pet shop full of different cat toys too including tubes and pipes in his hutch. be careful with material cat toys though because they were swallowed and caused a bit of rectal bleeding in my kit so don't leave them kind of toys unsupervised Quote Link to post

Cheers gaz You might have some rare EU beaver X`s there bud? Sorry, couldnt hold it in much longer.. Any kitten toys are fine, but keep an eye on any that seem to be getting chewed. Don't spend too much dough on them, cos their easier binned than cleaned, balls always seems to find fresh turds.. 1 Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
I forgot the old faithful empty plastic/paper feed sack. Again, keep an eye on them an remove any bits they shred off. Quote Link to post
GreyRake 108
Do you guys not find kits just destroy tennis balls an other soft toys? I worry they might try and eat some so I avoid the softer toys until they are older. But hard plastic balls go down very well, even better with bells. Tubes. Plastic container filled with something to snorkel and dig in. Boxes with holes. Mine go crazy for plastic bags but only have them when I'm around. If they seem to get board try rotating the toys. Tubes and some toys one day, dig box other toys the next etc. Quote Link to post
cookiemonsterandmerlin 145
I think toys are pretty ponitless as the kits play with each other and find numerous tunnels paper bags etc fair more liked as they love to jump and dive on each other entering or exiting the numerous pipes etc . My personel kits have never been keen on balls or toys ATB Cookie Quote Link to post

Interactive cat toys like feather teasers are great because they prefer to attack things that are moving obviously they work best when you are around to play with them. Quote Link to post
