jigsaw 11,865 Posted July 1, 2013 Report Share Posted July 1, 2013 their all tiddlers compared to this lad,caught in 59 by a well known farm collie,27 turns before the hare made a fatal mistake of stopping for a piss,it was the talk of the parish back then,,,the family back then were feasting for a month on it,you lot and yer fens this and field that,makes me laugh so it does that aint a hare its a kangaroo really!!!!!!well that explains all the fukin jumpin around they spoke about.said it jumped ditches 5 ft high.the''hare'' was a legend in the community.they say theres a group still breeding that big in the borders of cork and kerry to this day.better take a look i think. perthshire keeper 1,239 Posted July 2, 2013 Report Share Posted July 2, 2013 the biggest hare ive seen in fortyodd years i saw last week in between biggar and peebles. this beast was a monster. i thought it was a roe at first glance. real good to see such a fine looking animal. wish i had my camera with me. last time i was up biggar way we had a lot of good hares......... quess which one i am lol 1 Quote Link to post
