100m sprinters?

 

Aye theyre big cnuts.... but run them 105metres and they would flop....

 

Ofcourse there are exceptions....

 

But one of the easiest things to do is sprint a short distance :yes:

 

Aye theyre fit...to do it at peak peformance....

 

But not in the same league as cyclists...boxers...climbers....triathletes etc.

Every sport uses different muscle groups and needs different levels of maximum output and recovery time so it would be impossible to say which sport requires the most fitness ..............

Top level sport - they all need to be fit ! Got to respect them boys who do the tour de france and the boxers who go the distance but different sports require different types of fitness so it's hard t

An interviewer once asked Mittleman what qualified him to be an ultra endurance athlete (he'd recently given the title under occupation on an official form) and he replied 'about a thousand miles in 12 consecutive days....mate'.

 

Most fittness for me comes down to heart and breathing, you'd be suprised how many athletes/sportsmen cannot breathe correctly, bizarrely it's one of them things humans get right naturally when a baby but somehow it gets lost.
