roofer100 0 Posted June 30, 2013 Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 hi i have just applied for my fac for .22 rimfire rifle im new to shooting but keen to get started im am aware that the fire arms officer is going to inspect the land i wish to shoot on if he finds land suitable does this mean ill get my fac the land owner uses shootguns and rifles of a higher caliber on said land Quote Link to post

But if you are, then make a good impression by knowing in advance which are the safe areas to shoot, backstops, any footpaths, houses etc Quote Link to post
Lannyman8 3 Posted July 11, 2013 Report Share Posted July 11, 2013 as above, know your beans when it comes to safety back stops and the carry / power of your weapons.... dont be scared to ask questions here either, or friends with a license as it can all become a little over whelming, rifle ammunition etc etc and dont forget there is no such thing as a bone question....... regards. chris. Wackerrat 5 Posted August 2, 2013 Report Share Posted August 2, 2013 I was in the same boat a while ago, the landowner already had Shotguns & was cleared for a previous hunter, and my FEO didn't even check the land because it was on the land database, I had a google map printed out of the land along with the permission form for FAC regulated rifles (aswell as sub 12flb) when my FEO came for the interview, so everything was fine and I got the FAC.
