how do i get started im a newbie

Decent spade, a ferret locator, you will also need 10-20 more nets too and a ferret box.

 

Good luck, it would be better for you to go out with someone experianced and you will learn alot quicker. Im sure someone here will show you the ropes, Im abit far sadly and am too quite new to ferreting.

hi hope so richie :thumbs: . so do you need locators and collars ! dont some peeps use a line or is that for something else ?

do ferts lie up often . or just case of bad luck

 

 

i always use locators, wouldnt be without them. as for a line ? i have no experience in them, i would only think theres a risk of them getting tangled up down under with might cause problems for the ferrets... ive never had a ferret lay up. just had to set a trap once cause one of my new ferrets has the worst attitude problem.
