After the interview he was told he'd hear in 7-9 days, but unofficially there was no problem. That was 9 weeks ago now. He has called them a few times and they say they don't issue SGCs without a letter from the applicant's doctor, which they are still waiting for. Surely they should have done that before the intereview if they were going to. I didn't think it was standard practice to speak to your doctor. They didn't speak to mine. My FEO told me that.
