BORDERSCOT 3,816 Posted June 29, 2013 Report Share Posted June 29, 2013 Wife makes great stovies...tatties, onions, roast beef, (or spare ribs) roast dripping...simmer tatties and onions for a couple of hours...drain the water add the roast dripping and crumble the roast beef into it...simmer for another ten mins...and eat with HP sauce a crusty bread... Clootie dumplin' fried with a couple o fried eggs - can't beat that...feckin lovely...too much'll kill ya but it's braw.... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
