snoopdog 1,256 Posted August 18, 2007 Report Share Posted August 18, 2007 just thought i would put a few pics ive been taking through the summer ..this is were i run my dogs through the season and walk through the summer ......its been a wet summer to say the least they are in no particular order ..some of the floods we have had and some of the nicer days we have had ......the type of terrian i run is varied but most of it is rough ground and plenty of cover ...good stuff with the right dog ,...all the best snoop Quote Link to post

I have ferreted round Mallam,..Skipton,Airton,.Grassington,.etc,.also at Pateley Bridge,...fabulous ground for a lurcher to work ,.as any true lurcher should do.... Bit different locally.... snoopdog 1,256 Posted August 18, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 18, 2007 mallam is good bunny country thats for sure it can be a bit hazardes up the with all the limestone paving as we call it the dogs certainy have to know the land ....my uncle was gamey come handy man at mallam tarn house in the 80s i used to go in the summer hollidays from school trapping mink and controling the bunnies with him ...bloody loved it when i was a lad he used to let me use the 410 stick gun ..ha ha them were the days ...
