Evening all,

I am a one-time rough shooter who gave it all up many years ago and now wish I hadn't! :-) When I was 16 I had permission to shoot for free on a 1000 acres of land. It was mainly pigeon and rabbit shooting but with the odd bit of wildfowl and game from time to time. Most of the time we did decoyed pigeon shooting from hides. Anyhow I shot the land for approx. eight years before discovering women whilst I was chasing a career. That was 41 years ago; where did the time go? I'm now 57 and go on long country walks across farmland armed wit nothing more than a camera but it least it keeps me fit and out of trouble.

Anyhow I look forward to finding out what everyone's up too and I have taken up knife collecting since joining the British Blades forum 3 years ago. At that time I owned just three knives that have been with me since I was 16. I now own around 40! :-)

I look forward to reminiscing on times gone by whilst reading your various stories on here!
