yeh there both back at work, just said on the news, they should sue the police, and get some comp for the young lad. This could affect the lad for a long while, i know a lad who got bit quite bad by a gsd years ago, and it put him off dogs very long while, any dog bite is bad, more so when big buggers like them trained to bite.

My mum is a nurse, whenever it's Sunderland v Newcastle she gets a load of patients in with dog bites, and these aren't your usual trouble makers they are just normal fans who were walking to or from the ground and the dogs jumped and bit them...on the lead! Worst she's seen was a chap with his calf ripped out :icon_eek: do they need muzzling until release or what?

Years ago out side a night club. My pal got a nasty nip and his sleeve pulled off his knock off Paul & Shark jumper..

Was bit a scuffle and the police were try to disperse the crowd, my mate was having a laugh and told the dog handler to keep his girlfriend quite .

You can guess the rest.. Copper gave his mutt enough slack to get a grip.. Tell you what tho , we all done one :laugh:

you only got see your normal size dog crunch a beef bone, to see the power of a dogs bite. These gsd cop dogs are big strong dogs with strong jaws and do lot of damage quick as i said. ive seen 1 dog doing attack training hitting the sleeve, and this had b/m and gsd in it, hit went like rocket at his arm and nearly had the fella down, who was about 15st , and locked on.These are very strong dogs and this 1 was only about 70lb, my pup 1/2 gsd and is very powerful for a 10 month old pup. It must have been (horrific) for the 10 year old lad , they want compensation for him if nothing else, as he might not ever get over this attack

I watched a wide boy getting the full chase down and arrested, the lad was as wide as you like taking proper piss out of police and general nuisance to public then the dog handler turned up and the lad thought its just a dog, well after managing to run about 30 meters the dog was released ive never heard a grown man squeal like it, you can safely say he never did what he did again.

Once, many moons ago, I was very drunk and worked very hard at earning myself a single, warning / 'stop that shit and leave me the f**k alone, you idiot!' bite off a Pit Bull. Just a snap. One canine puncturing my arm.

I can tell you now; It felt just like someone had hit my arm bone with a sledge hammer. My arm simply dropped to hang useless at my side. Sobriety returned as if someone had thrown a switch. It made grabbing an electric fence seem like a pleasure.

So, yes. Half decent dog putting a bite on. Then doing absolutely anything else? Biting again. Shaking the grip? F**k me! I just can't begin to comprehend how horrific that sort of experience mist be.

As a side note though; West Midlands? F**k me. Can you imagine if it had been a f**king islamist that took the bite?! :icon_eek:
