Only watch the womens tennis   Mens tennis is for fags

He's just turned 26, I've always followed his career and the last 12 months he just seems stronger and goes for more shots than he would've before Lendl became his coach. Lendl's been his coach for 18

Murray's always had the talent, its just he happens to be in one of if not the most competitive era of tennis. He achieved a lot last year and that will bode well for his chances this year at Wimbledo

Murray into the semi's for the 5th consecutive year, he showed a lot of character to come back from 2 sets down.

:victory:

true jonny, even if gets past the next round, i dont think he will beat No1 seed , hope he does but he got up his game, or he wont go any further .!!

Aye, im no tennis expert but he certainly cant afford to be 2 sets down from here on in. Hope he can do this.

Murray as a good record when a match goes 5 sets, since 2006 he's been involved in 15 5 set matches and losing 3 to Nadal, Djokovic and Verdasco who he beat yesterday.

Never seen the match, at work. Seen his last one where he came back in the second set after being sloppy. It's ok coming back from 2 sets down, having that in the locker but if its taking you 5 sets every match to get to the final and your final opponent 3, only going to be 1 winner.

That would be the case if every match he was playing was a grueller of 5 sets but the 2 sets he dropped yesterday were his first this tournament and since losing to Federer in last years final he's on a 16 game win streak on grass. He's not playing again until tomorrow so plenty of time to recover from a 3 and 1/2 hour game imo.

I'm not sure Baw........i honestly reckon he has been told to get his fitness to the highest level. Watch him play he is about as boring as his personality. He returns a high percentage of shots back to the opponent when he could have had them running around the court. I reckon he is trying to tire them out and thats why he managed to come back and win yesterday but it has failed in the past when he has met the big guns. A good start will see him beat Djokovic if he makes the final.........Oh and will he learn to get more power in his 2nd serve....jesus its like a little girl hitting it... :whistling:

Oh and........

Never played tennis then lab. :D

Yesterdays game was a tough one for him, Verdasco has always been a class player and being a left handed player is very tricky to play against, they get so much top spin on the ball that a slice return is sometimes the only defence against them so it does look sometimes like they're just trying to get it back.

Murrays fitness is right up there with probably only Djokovic being fitter and more athletic than him imo. :victory:

Nope..........not many tennis courts where i grew up......lol But you know what i mean....when you watch players like Nadal, Federer and Djokovic they have there opponent all over the place. You can watch them play and say exactly where there going to put it next. Lost count of how many times ive watched Murray return it stright to the boy when the other side of the court is free....fed up of shouting at the tv so if he makes the final i might watch it...

I can mind Murray saying he hasn't played a leftie this year, glad he got that out the way.

Bit of an anal fact here for you baw, Nadal's top spin creates around 3200 rpm on the forehand and the guy Murray played yesterday as a rpm of around 3000 rpm but a right handed player spins it at a peak of around 2500 rpm(Federer). :icon_redface:

Its all about styles though lab the guys you mentioned are aggressive players and play on the front foot whereas Murray is a more defensive player and will wait for his opening more, though tbh he's got much more aggressive this last 18 months.
