Mine's do well on it...fed it for years...   Anyone else feed it?   Thought about firing up the barbie for a minute or two...   We cut up and bagged 60lbs today...also chopped up 60lbs of froze

Always be very careful where you get your horse flesh. If a horse was killed by injection there'd be enough in it to kill several dogs. I've heard of a hunt loosing a lot of hounds from feeding a sing

Yep I use it,,, sometimes it has beef and mutton in the bag,, but mostly oss meat,,, it comes in a bin bag frozen in 50 lbs costs 10 quid ,,,solid lump,, like you I have to chop it up,,I put the bags

I did a sheep last year and struggled to get nine kilo of meat off her . mind you it was a small one

45-50% of live weight is the standard meat yield of a sheep.

The intestines maybe eaten. However with each species there is DEFRA mandated material which must not be consumed (known as SRM or Specified Risk Material). For each species this material must be stained and then disposed of in an approved manner, mainly via a renderer. Burial or disposal in a domestic wheelie bin is not an approved method and so is illegal.

LOL - I know you were. It was meant for anyone else who didn't know. There is already someone who thought home slaughter was illegal. Just trying to spread some enlightenment on a Friday morning.
