secretagentmole 1,701 Posted June 30, 2013 Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 (edited) Yes because it was probably the worst idea out, two separate hands to reload when you can do it off a bolt or lever with just one hand? I stand by my claim that the MMC was ridiculous and BSA must have agreed because they have replaced the MMC with a rear bolt. If it was that good they would have kept it! The only good thing about the MMC was the ability to decock a rifle, but that still left you with the problem of having ammo up the spout and nothing to get it out with until you re-cocked the rifle (more than one Ultra owner has inadvertently shoved 2 or more pellets up the barrel that way). I also know what I am talking about as I owned an Ultra (for three weeks). It was a great gun, accurate, quiet to fire with a silencer, sounded like a cat with metal shoes on a zinc roof to reload!
