Their was an old farmer their, probably gone now, called Alex Harding, he use to give us permission to ferret, had a good few bunnys on his land. Use to go coursing, but never had permsiion , got a few hares with certain crosses, had great craic, weather we would get away with it now, is a different matter. Another farmer, the arrowsmiths, had a good bit of land, done some ferreting their and they use to have and breed ferrets too. , The good old days ha.?
