baw 4,360
THL covers practically all forms of hunting, not seen a catapult section yet but I'm sure it'll come more popular once there's been a decent book written by our resident author anyhow, what section do you think they take there sport the most serious? I only really go on the general, lurcher and fishing ones. I find the general best for a laugh. The lurcher one is a mixed bag. I've noticed the better a guy 'thinks' his dog is, the less of a sense of humour he has. Is that the same in say the Airgun section, the better the shooter, more expensive the gun, the more fragile the ego? Are the terrier boys more serious than the ferreters? Is the fisherman more helpful than the show section. That type of thing. Who is the most dedicated out of all the fieldsports, gun dogmen, air guns, terriers, shotguns, rifles, fishing, ferreters or as I suspect, lurchermen what's your views? redpat1 225
Hi Baw, if you go to the craft and DIY section there is a sub heading for Catapults. As for who is most passionate, I would say it is pretty close between terriermen and lurchermen.
fireman 10,926
No ego's or big dick comps on the bird section, just folks who love the birds for what they are.Well Millets a bit of a show off but we'll let him off that for this year ONLY and OP's posts on his wild bird ringing is a grand look into a different side of admiring our native birds .
