moxy 617
I thought it was only fluorescent light that could affect it? Incandescent or led should be fine as it doesent flicker. Only what I have heard so don't quote me. Atb Quote Link to post

moxy 617
Sorry skot no. As I said its just mainly from what I remember reading on here and other forums. I use a chrony. No science masters degree needed. Plug and play. Lol. Quote Link to post
Buster321c 1,010
Not worth the hassle Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Just dont want to spend 90 odd quid or whatever on the f1 chrony just for it to not work in my bedroom. Quote Link to post
moxy 617
http://www.shootingchrony.com/manual_F1M1.htm Have a read and see if there is anything about light interference. But if it won't work accurately indoors surely outside would be safer than your bedroom!? Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
It would be easier to do it in bedroom. Cant shoot in garden so would have to goto permission and find a good sunlit area without too many shadows Quote Link to post
thursodog 353
Hi SKot. Yeah the lighting is a pain in the arse. I use mines in the man cave with the tube lights switched of and a large halogen light hung over the top and it works fine. I still get error 1 and 2 up sometimes and the odd silly reading which is about a 100 fps more than the rest of a 10 shot string which i know aint the gun. Generally though its giving good results and i'd say yes to the lighting system if its not too expensive. I don't bother about printing i just write down my results and head inside for a coffee in front of this contraption to convert my readings to fpe. http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/energycalc.htm Hope this helps. Atb Chris. Edit - Its pretty compact pal so you could easily slip it into a small back pack to use on your perm. Edited June 25, 2013 by thursodog 1 Quote Link to post
