Am I the only one who finds this video hilarious!?!   Couple of characters these two were/are.

Ive always said Eubank didnt beat Benn in that first fight.....Benn beat himself !!...........You just cant go in a ring with all that animosity and hatred.....he didnt have it for the second fight and won it in my eyes.

That was back in the day when boxing was exciting. I know the mind plays tricks lol but can mind Eubank taking on a German in Germany. The crowd were f***ing hostile, easy couple of thousand. When Eubank came on they were gonna kill him. Wee tight venue, crowd practically on the canvas all supporting the German, it was Britain v Germany all over again. Could feel the hatred in my livingroom never mind being there. I'm thinking no way will Eubank strut his stuff like he normally does...... But the ballsy c**t did, crowd went ducking mental. During the fight he took dogs abuse, ref must have felt intimidated, 3 times the German stuck the nut in Eubank with not even a tut tut. The last time Eubank just laughed. Eubank knocked the c**t out and I'm thinking, he's f***ing dead now lol. But the cocky c**t gets up on the ropes, hands on hips, looks around the crowd giving them a knowing nod while there mans sprawled out pissing blood. Balls of f***ing steel and total respect to the guy. As I say, might not have been exactly like that but in my mind, it was :D

I saw both the Eubank/Collins fights. The first one was in Millstreet Cork in a tiny 4000 seater venue. It seemed 3998 were Irish and me and my mate. They HATED Eubank so much, but the man has proper balls. Once he got in the ring he went down one end and did his pose and the crowd went mental swearing and booing. He just smiled and went to the other end and did the same. He thrived on being hated.

He should never have lost that fight, but that's another story.

In the real world he's a bit of a buffoon, but he was master of his job.

Is it me or did everyone seem to be into boxing in those days? I remember being in the last year of school when Bruno fought Tyson and the whole school was buzzing. Kids don't seem to be that into it these days? But like I said, could be just me. Its just I remember the pubs bouncing when say Benn v Eubank fought or Lennox fought Holyfield, now I don't see the excitement as much :hmm:
