Seen this on the Bellman and flint website below. Just wonderd if it was good for digging out ferts, any experinces folks?

My mate gave me one exactly the same frank as he got a deal of buy one get one free from a hardware catalogue,he does landscaping and fences ect and say's their handy wee spades being a lot stonger than they look and they should do you for the ferreting.............i havn't tried it yet,so i will reserve my jugement untill i give it a go but there a handy wee size if you are out on your own and weigh next to nothing :thumbs:

they arent as solid as the bigger spades i use but ive just been test it for you and it seems ok mate.

It says their 27 inches, seems small, how did you find the small size?

yeah they are 27 inches,they dont seem that bad but you do have 2 bend your back a little more but they seem ok.better for shallow sets.they are alright if your going out on your own and you have got alot of stuff to carry.just put it on your back.

if you can get one cheap enough its worth a try :thumbs:

HI. £9.81 INCLUDING POSTAGE FROM TOOLSTATION.COM LOOKS THE SAME SPADE , WE GOT ONE LAST WEEK , DAD DUG A LITTLE HOLE AND SAID ITS A HANDY SPADE FOR THE SIZE , PLUS IT FITS IN MY BACKPACK WITH JUST A BIT STICKING OUT , JACKO :)
