Montyiamtheone 0
Hi Just looking for some advice. Going to north coast of Cornwall in October and wondered about shooting Black Backed Gulls. We have a cottage right on the edge of a cliff with no one else near us. My question is this, can I shoot the Gulls there? I have read that this area is over run with these gulls. Cheers. Montyiamtheone 0
I am aware they are on the licence just not sure if I can shoot the that close to the sea. I am not sure if there are any bylaws around shooting near the sea? Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
Shooting near the sea, it didn't stop Nelson thank god I can't see me talking Spanish. That would be French me old fella, Nelson fought the frogs. It would be Drake who took on the Dagos! 1 Quote Link to post
porkycrook 466
So who did Sir Francis Chichester fight? Quote Link to post
Montyiamtheone 0
Loving the history lesson guys, any idea on the question. Por favor. Quote Link to post
J-D 7
Most of the coastline is National Trust so no shooting and lots of walkers. I thought the general license was only for Lesser Black Backed Gulls not Greaters . Quote Link to post
Montyiamtheone 0
Sorry yes the Lesser Black. Quote Link to post
Wildling 520
You would be better off raising this question with a shooting and hunting organisation like BASC who can give you a definitive answer. They will be able to give you an answer that is both correct and legal. Quote Link to post
