Yes, smooth coated, sort of. Seen him work a big place one day, pushed out a few foxes and saw him dug to, he was about four years old, he never let your man past him, when it got hard. The were good hunting lads

It's about 7 or 8 years from I seen that dog can't remember what age he was then sure I'll find out next week

We owned scamp bred him too , one of the best dogs to work a man could watch work , his brothers were not better but equally as good , I would know we worked and bred them too.

Yes. A good dog. His half brother and son were much better dogs IMO.

His son was not a better dog , good dog yes but nowhere near as well bred as his father
