What i like about these type of dogs is there complete power they might seem over large but when i see patterdales work its a case of how long i can get the sh1t kicked out of me and stay the course but with these dogs they push and boss the game and always seem to be in control of things there isnt many types that can bully game. If they have the ability to find and push in tight you have a good dog because the physical aspect is allready there.

possibly right but size is an advantage if it doesnt stop the dog from getting there patterdales are being over bred at the minute and there is no doubt some lads have very good quality yards/lines but if your not in certain clicks or have contacts then when you go outside those pools of lads that keep things tight the pickings are slim and there is a large amount of inferior dogs. The breed doesnt bother me what they are as long as they do the job.

ive yet to see any for sale at the same level as blacks in fact ive never seen one for sale all were gifted im not saying it doesnt happen but its not common to see them on the conveyor belt and hopefully it stays that way. Money and dogs equals dishonesty.
