But the guys that got Tip knew everything that was in Peter Tulip article.

They weren't looking for a KC or a Pure bred, they wanted a working dog to outcross to and produce from and that's exactly what they got.

 

Their own stuff had english bull and staff blood but that didn't concern them either. They want and wanted working terriers, not breeds or purebreds. Tip was the stamp of a Sealyham type, but he wasn't sealyham breed KC or otherwise.

he was a hotch poch of terrriers that had the look of sealy's but they were putting in wire haired russells and other cross bred terriers that didnt improve their line but didnt ruin it either apart from the coat, if the old fashoned sealy was so good why were they nearly always used doubled or more at a time and why are they so scarce now because if they were the dog danglies everyone would have one.

I don't think they're Sealy's, but a white terrier of a certain type. I'm sure they do the job, or lads wouldn't keep em. Any lads in the UK work this type?
