morton 5,368
no be better just with a full whippet ?It's certainly an option but finding a grafting one with good feet that's had the seasons under its belt and who's owner is willing to show it working seems to be like finding a needle in a haystack. Maybe I'm too picky. I don't know. See how mines goes this season.Still be a young dog but I.m not one to wait till a dog gets old before breeding. If you like what you see,you can use him for free.atb JohnnyPM sent mate Why?,young dog virtually untested?,possibly the needs of modern lurcher breeding and the requirements of the newcomers to the breeds?. PM saying I will go to see his whippet run on golf course. Not asking him to line my bitch tomorrow. Lol. Okey Dokey, how do you think a whippet will run on short grass chasing summer bunnies?. Same as a winter one, rapid with great turn. Im sure more than one member on here will know that?. True but you did ask? Seriously, the majority on here now, would,nt have a clue.I know i may be coming across as a tad insensitive but in reality the amount of lads in the game now that are inclined to breed from second grade dams to third grade studs?,not all but to many, breeding without knowing what pups will balance out like and what the breeding will add to the mix, breeding because i want to and have no idea what the parents or the pups will ever be capable of,breeding because it might supplement my income, without regard of what it costs to raise a decent litter, breeding for breeding sake and the worst of all, breeding with little or no knowledge of whats required to create a worthwhile hunting jukel, the list is endless. 1 Quote Link to post

Hence why I wanted to keep the robustness going. I've run my bitch on a variety of ground and she's done well. Had a foot injury early this year but that was caused jumping a big wall, she knocked the trailing foot. Quote Link to post
