worked with ferrits handaled them then gave them back now my 2 young sons have been given 2 young hobs from there grandad :wallbash::censored: is it poss to have the kids handle them and work them ??????????? :hmm:

Frank; Ye don't exactly give us a wealth of information to go on here, mate. Like, how old ye kids are?

 

But I'm guessing it's a fair bet that your Dad, having been around a bit, would know enough to guage if they're old enough to have ferrets, wouldn't he? And, if he so much as figured they could suitably be trusted to keep them; Why on earth shouldn't they work them?

 

In fact, come to that; If ye so unsure about the abilities of ye own kids? Why not ask ye Dad? He'd probably have more to go on than a forum full of complete strangers, no?

well if kits/ young ferrets are handled regular i fail to see how they cant become a usefull tool in anyones ferreting arsenal :whistling: cant think of anyone who would have the time or patience to wrestle with a ball of hissing spitting fury :laugh:

 

So my personal view is handle as much as humanly possible :D

my 4 year old daughter handles mine exsept my nasty albino one 6the kits 24 week old now one of the bitches keeps nipping but doesnt break the skin and the wee one just doesnt bother anyway she's that used to ferrets n pup's i wouldnt worry just lend a hand if needed take them out with them and if your happy with how they work them then you know you can let them go out my cuz is 12 now he has went out himself since he was 8 and my other cuz whose 6 goes out with him and his little brother now god knows how they get rabbits its like ufc all they do is fight but for some reason they always come back with something .
