SHINYBUM 3
i have just purchased a daystate huntsman classic at 30 ft lbs, i have a old tasco 3-9x50 on at the moment, what would you recommend with the mildot or grid line type of reticle, the shop was showing me a mamba lite but decided to take my time choosing a good scope for the gun. secretagentmole 1,701
Well what scopes suit your eyes? Different people like different glass, some people rave about MTC I am one of the Hawke legion, others are PAO fans, others Bushnell. Try a few, see what you like then decide on your reticle. I am a big fan of the Hawke SR reticles, closely followed by the Hawke MAP reticles, those along with my chrono have enabled accurate shooting over longer distances! Quote Link to post
AR177 588
All depends on what you like, Ive had alot of different makes I like to think of it as 'if i owned that gun what would i use' .. so I suggest a falcon menace 4-16x44 FFP scope but if thats not for you I would say a hawke sidewinder or panorma ev4 - great scopes and the balistics software will help you get the most out of your rilfe The MTC range are good but.... its pot luck if you get a good scope that dosn't white out and the ballistics software dosn't match up exactly Quote Link to post
splitcane 5
You haven't said how much you want to spend. Not much point in suggesting a Light Stream (which I would because they do a very nice first focal plane reticle model) if your budget is more Hawke or MTC, nor if it's more Zeiss or S&B (gulp), for that matter.
