aye the tip lol

you would be surprised..........

just kidding bud, there a place in my town does all that.makes a fortune.

i knew you were mate lol...........i no a place who buys it all near me........but would like to cut the middle man out so to speak..........and wondered if anyone on here is a seller???

there was a bloke at barton under needswood just off the A38 who did buy that sort of stuff, Chippy BM

yeah i no him mate lol he is sound but tight........ :D

just wondered if its best to sit on things and sell them yourself for top whack or just get it gone to a place like his.........if you store something for a few months just to make a few extra quid cant see it being worth it.......... :hmm:

me and the man with few fingers go way back  we once lived in the same village before he moved to barton :laugh::laugh::drink::drink::drink::drink:

small world......... i only no him through going in there but he seems a sound guy............he certainly knows his stuff lol

he was paying 60quid a thousand for cleaning bricks, he uses an axe hence the lack of fingers

A small meat cleaver is the best tool to use, just done a bit of brick cleaning this week and a cleaver is better than an axe as i tried using one as well.

I sold reclaimed roofing materials for 16 years. Been to most yards up and down the country. If you want to pm me where u are I'll see if I remember anyone close by. Look online for a site called salvo. Used to be loads of adverts on there of people wanting small quantities of a particular brick/tile for a job
