Two days ago Fly dog went slightly lame after a hard run, then seemed fine after a few minutes. Same again yesterday, when I noticed her toe is swollen. She's sound except for when she works hard. There are no marks, lumps, foreign bodies or anything that I can see. It is slightly tender to squeeze but the joint doesn't seem painful when flexed. Any ideas?

It's a bone/ligament injury - no amount of "letting blood out from cutting the nail" is going to make any difference - the swelling isn't blood, it's fluid in the tissue. Can you imagine someone cutti

I have tried that several times Daz and it has never worked yet..lead walk's for 3/4 wk's or get to the vet's if you a concerned..

That only works if it is done instantly .......

It bleeds like f**k thats for sure :bad:

Sure does matey..and the dog's yelp like fook.. i have done that twice to one pooch and one to another..and i can 100% say it made no differene at all..

My pal swears by it but we do give them rymidal 50mg first dose and 25mg daily for further 4 days so it's mare likey the meds. Never done it as a stand alone treatment. I have more bad toes than owt medication helps dogs back to normal after seven days.
