It will be two when I cut it in half and grind the points.

 

But I will need to know the length of the pinns? What's the norm?

 

I have a shed load of these 8mm rings in all sorts of shapes and sizes and plenty of stainless rod. Again 8mm.

Tiercel has just sent me a couple of wooden end pins for my stop net (which these would be used on)...

 

So id like to try them out mate :thumbs:

if you've got any 3 - 3.5" rings id be interested in buying them off you. is it 304 or 316 :thumbs:

I will have a route through. Most are mild steel plated. Those in the pic are stainless but I couldn't tell you what grade. And are only around 2".

I can get some larger rings but I know for a fact they are not stainless and may be a thicker guage.

I will look and have an ask.

Cheers moxy but save ya self the trouble of routing about........... ive got a shed load of 5 mm mild steel wire 2" diameter nickel plated rings. they're good for stop nets but not much else . Cheers mick. :thumbs:

Lol. The rings are 3". My nob must be bigger than I thought!!

 

I have just had a measure OF the rings!!
