How To Get Rid Of Delta Search

Recommended Posts

Got delta search toolbar on your internet browser and can't get rid?
Tried to uninstall it via the uninstall program in the control panel and been told you don't have the admin access to do this?
Easiest way to get rid is open your PC in "SAFE MODE" then open the control panel, uninstall program, click on delta search and uninstall, shut down computer, check the control panel once again and low and behold it's gone.
if your not sure how to open your PC in safe mode, turn off your PC with the power button, turn it on again and it will have a screen offering the option of opening in safe mode, normal mode and a couple of others, obviously if your intending to follow the above instructions safe mode is what your after!!

IF YOUR NOT CONFIDENT LEAVE IT TO SOMEONE WHO IS

The problem is that even though you have got rid of the PUP it has residual programs left on your computer these need to be got rid of aswell.

http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-delta-search/ shows you how.

indeed your right, should have made this a little clearer but the residuals are easier to remove and can usually be removed without having to go into safe mode or as an administrator, trouble with most of the instructions on how to remove advice is that it does not include instructions if the program throws up a "you do not have access, please contact system administrator" or the error thrown up by CCleaner for example, which is commonplace in trying to remove this little nasty.

a nice link though for those who need the further instruction, it's gone into my favourites for any future attacks, cheers tierce
